Hello I’m Rowan!

I am an entry level Ux designer looking to get more experience to learn as much as I can. I am a person who finds myself empathizing we others and I want to use that skill of mine to make the best user experience I can.

After highschool I went into college while playing football but did not know what I wanted to do so I ended up dropping out. I then began working hospitaity jobs in the winter and a landscape maintenance in the summer as a seasonal worker. I knew this was not going to be a long term career for me so I started doing research on different career options I have in the IT field. I always had an interest in art and design being someone who took art classes like art portfolio and design in photoshop. So when I found out about UX Design it instantly caught my attention. So I started off jumping into this career by completing the Google UX Design Certificate course because I wanted to learn as much intro level knowledge as I can while practicing new skills. Throughout the course I learned more about Adobe XD and Figma and became comfortable using these design softwares but still learning more about them as I continue. Now as I advance in this career I am excited to learn more and work my way up to becoming a great UX Designer.
